Swedish Massage offers deep relaxation, helping improve circulation and reduce tension. It involves light to medium pressure and more prolonged, gentler strokes. The objective of this massage is to reduce muscle tension and boost blood circulation throughout the body.
A Deep Tissue Massage is an excellent option for pain relief. This massage technique uses slower movement and deep pressure, focusing on areas of discomfort. It’s designed to ease pain and muscle stress throughout the body. It reaches the innermost layer of muscles and tendons. The objective in deep tissue massage is to breakdown adhesions, which cause discomfort, swelling and limit motion of the joints and muscles.
A Hot Stone Massage is used to help to relax and ease tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout the body. During a Hot Stone Massage, smooth, flat, heated stones are placed on specific parts of body. The stones are usually made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock that retains heat. Sometimes, cold stones are also used during a Hot Stone Massage. They may be used after hot stones to calm any engorged blood vessels and to soothe the skin.
Hopi ear candles are an ancient and natural therapy that may help with issues such as sinus problems, compacted ear wax, tinnitus and headaches and generally calm and relax you when life is stressful.
This wonderful therapy is a great to have if you like deep tissue work. It will leave you feeling relaxed with a sense that your muscles have been stretched, warmed and elongated. Warm bamboo massage uses solid bamboo sticks of different lengths and diameters to massage the body. The sticks are warmed and applied to give deep and long massage strokes to break down tension and stretch tight muscles.
Traditional Thai Foot massage is a unique and powerful therapy and an ancient form of therapeutic healing. It works on similar principles as Reflexology covering the feet and the lower leg. It involves hands on massage and stretching techniques opening the “Sen” energy lines, along with the use of a traditional Thai foot massage stick. Pressure is applied on specific reflex points on the feet to stimulate the internal organs, activating the body’s natural healing mechanism. This treatment is a wonderful stress reliever promoting deep relaxation.
Cupping therapy is one of the oldest and effective method of releasing the toxins from body tissue. It’s also known as vacuum cupping. It’s a practice in which special cups are placed on the skin to create suction. This causes the tissue beneath the cup to be drawn up and swell causing increase in blood flow to affected area, drawing impurities and toxins away from treated tissue towards the surface for elimination. Cupping helps to reduce pain and inflammation, improves blood flow, promote healing process.
Body brushing, exfoliating and body wraps, as standalone treatments or with massage.
Is a skin exfoliation technique that will help to stimulate and brighten the skin by removing surface dead skin cells and unclogs pores, leaving skin feeling softer and smoother and allowing moisturizers to penetrate deeply into skin. It also stimulates nerve endings which contribute to activation of healing pathways and healing process of entire body.
Exfoliation with scrubs has similar benefits to dry brushing. There are different scrubs can be used, such are sugar-based scrubs which help to pull water into your skin, leaving it hydrated while getting rid of all the dry and dead cells. Coffee-based scrubs have natural stimulative and anti-inflammatory
properties, effective on cellulite prone areas. Salt-based scrubs encourage detoxification, help to soothe aching muscles.
Body wraps are considered as an effective, natural way to enhance and moisten your skin, designed to improve the texture and appearance of the skin, helping to rid the body of excess fluids and toxins, skin tightening and nourishing. Other benefit of body wraps is contouring, temporary inch-loss effect (ideal for special occasions or as pre-holiday treatments), for long lasting effect it can be done alongside with diet and exercises. Or just a great way to treat yourself in relaxing and calming environment.
